Mathematical Association of Botswana (MAB) is a non-profit making association registered with Registrar of Societies on the 3rd January 1980, in Gaborone. The Association has established structures around the country led by regional chairpersons.

The major activities of the association include school mathematics clubs that participate in projects and give students more challenging mathematics to be able to participate in Mathematics Olympiads. In addition, members prepare contests and quizzes coordinated nationally with the best students encouraged with prizes.

The Association also collaborates with Botswana Science Association (BOTSA) on mathematics and science annual fairs, usually held in June or July.

MAB enjoys recognition of Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) for its contribution to enhancement of classroom teaching and learning as outline in Botswana National Policy on Education (first revised in 1994).
